Kitchen/Dining Room

The very spacious open-plan kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with a hob, extra large oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The ample and well orientated work surfaces allow for food preparation to be a social event! The two large dining room tables, together with the breakfast counter facility, makes the kitchen a versatile entertainment/food preparation area which traditionally becomes the ‘hub of the home'. The area comfortably seats 16 people. The entire space is warmed by under-floor heating in winter.

Main Lounge

This large room is bright and airy, opening out, through fold-up doors to a large, completely covered entertainment patio facing the tiered lawns and pool. It is decorated in warm, earth colours of tan, rust and ochre. The two large couches together with complementary wingback and wicker chairs easily seat 10 people.  A large two-way fireplace not only serves as a beautiful feature, but provides great atmosphere during the winter months. The lounge is also equipped with under-floor heating.

TV/African Lounge

The TV lounge is decorated in earthy tones characterized by the African plains. The items decorating the room have been collected from around Africa, creating an uncluttered, tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The two large couches and two single African-style chairs comfortably seat 8 people. A closed stove-type fireplace provides warmth and a cozy atmosphere in winter. Large fold-up doors open this room out to a large covered patio and garden on two sides, creating a wonderful indoor-outdoor living/entertainment space.

Patio

The patio is a distinguishing feature of Anura House.  Bright, fully covered patios, with skylights, open out from all the major living rooms of the house, effectively doubling the living/entertainment space. A large outdoor table is provided as well as a Weber barbequing/braai facility.  Wooden pool loungers are provided on the main bedroom patio.

Swimming Pool

A crystal clear swimming pool which is fully maintained and bordered on one side by a scented indigenous garden, frequented by colorful sunbirds, adds to the charm of this delightful home.

Other Facilities

A double garage providing sufficient space for two large vehicles is provided. Secure off- street parking within the property, is provided for a further 6 cars. The house is equipped with a security alarm backed by a reliable Security Patrol Service. The property is walled, offering complete privacy. Access is via a motorized, remote-controlled gate. An adventure jungle gym is in one section of the garden for visitors with young children who need to burn off excess energy! A fully equipped playroom is available on request, with supervision provided (cost not included).
